7/27/26 ; Augustus Aquato and his son Raz

More Psychonauts fanart! Based of the painting of Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan by Ilya Repin (one of my favorite realist paintings ever).

A fully rendered artpiece of Augustus Aquato and Raz, based on the Russian realism painting 'Ivan the Terrible and his son Ivan' by Ilya Repin. It depicts a theoretical scene of Augustus finding his son's brainless body (which would've happened likely shortly before the in-game Meat Circus level). Augustus holds his son close to him, arm around his waist and a hand on his head, with a look of abject guilt and horror. Raz's body is still alive, but without his brain, he is essentially lifeless, staring blankly with clouded eyes. His body is limp and his helmet and goggles are discarded nearby on the ground. Both are lit by the moonlight from behind.

This took me two days and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I lowkey love making fully rendered pieces like this (I just don't do it often because it takes for-fucking-ever). This is the first time I've drawn Augustus Aquato in fullbody and I probably should've done a warmup of that beforehand, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Also, worth mentioning, I did not draw the background. It's a screenshot from the game. I did a lot of editting to get the dramatic lighting I wanted for the piece, but I knew I wasn't gonna draw that full-ass background shot because I do not trust my skills in drawing backgrounds and also, it would've taken even longer (my ass is NOT putting up with that). I'm still pretty proud of the editting I did, but I'm not the happiest with it since I don't think it meshes the best with the actual character drawings I did, but whatever.

I wish I'd gone back and added some more/different highlighting, but overall, I'm pretty happy with this piece. Also because it made me feel evil as fuck the whole time I was drawing it >:)

6/25/26 ; Make A Terrible Comic Day

Today (yesterday at time of posting) was Make A Terrible Comic Day on Bluesky and also, coincidentally, the release of Deltarune Chapter 5. I had this Deltarune comic in my head for a while, so I decided to use today as my excuse to make it a reality.

A shitty comic entitled 'Shitty Deltarune Papyrus Comic' Kris and Toriel are walking down the street. A textbox says 'You ask your mom if you really have to do this.' Toriel replies, 'Cheer up, Kris. I'm sure Mr. Sans' brother is very excited to see you.' - Toriel spots Sans and his brother (Papyrus, obviously) in the distance. 'Look! There they are now!' - Sans and Papyrus are having a conversation between the two of them, with Papyrus messily fiddling with his scarf. 'Sans, this is a horrible idea.' 'Hey, don't knock it 'til you try it.' 'I mean it, Sans. Making friends is your thing, not mine.' 'Don't sweat it, bro. You'll love Kris. They're a real scream.' 'Sans, I haven't even met people on the internet who like-' Papyrus' dialogue is cut off from here. - Papyrus' dialogue continues with him interrupting himself to scream, 'Is that a human!' His proportions (and the proportions of everyone else in the frame) are way off to a comical degree as he points out Kris, who is barely in frame. Sans responses with a simple, 'yep'. - Papyrus stands next to Kris, stomping his feet in glee. Kris stands there with their fists clenched awkwardly. Papyrus continues to speak with Sans, who is off screen. 'Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! Wowee! A real human!' 'See? I knew you two would get along peachy. Told ya moving was worth it.' 'But you never told be there was a human living here!' 'Eh, why spoil the surprise?' A text box over Kris reads, 'You are filled with discomfort.' while Kris says, 'oh my god bru' under their breath. Toriel speaks with Sans, rather confused by his comment in the previous panel. 'I don't mean to sound presumptuous, Mr. Sans, but... How could you have possibly known about Kris before moving here?' 'What, you think I threw a dart at a map? Nah, I'm a renter.' Papyrus stands with Kris in the background, his hands on his hips. 'You think that lazy bones would open a store of his own volition? He only runs the place because of his boyfriend-' - The screen is split between Kris and Toriel as they both turn to face Papyrus (the viewer) shocked. 'Boyfriend?' There is also a Live Soul Reaction box in the left corner (the soul has not changed at all). - Sans and Papyrus speak amongst themselves again as Toriel and Kris stand off to the sides, absolutely speechless. 'Yep, my boyfriend, Grillby, let me take care of the shop while he's on vacation.' 'And you've been doing a terrible job! The place is closed half the time.' 'Hey, it hasn't burned down yet.' - Kris and Toriel stand side by side. Kris prays to the Angel, 'Oh, thank the Angel, he's not after my mom!' Toriel responds to the situation, 'Oh, how sweet of you.' while thinking to herself, 'Fuck, I missed my chance to bag a bisexual baddie!'

You're welcome sansby nation.

As for my thoughts on Chapter 5 of Deltarune, while I haven't finished it yet, so far, I find it really enjoyable. I'm loving all the new characters (except for one of them, which I think you can guess who he is) and the music is really nice. I'm also really into the melding of Shogen Era Japan and Wild West aesthetics. That's all I'll say for now, to avoid spoilers, but I'm really getting into it so far.

Here's hoping I get inspired to make more comics soon.

6/16/26 ; Come Not Near Our Fairy Prince

CONTENT WARNING : Artistic Nudity (non-explicit, no genitalia), Gore (spilled guts, unnaturally colored)

A drawing of Shiloh, naked (with no visible genitalia, chill), with his blue innards in display just behind his clasped hands. He sits on his knees, his heart pendant shown on his chest in the middle of his glowing chest scar. His fae wings are behind him, their eyes closed. The background is a dusty pink with a various subtle patterns, including rose petals and screentones, with a sketch of an anatomical heart behind it. The background also includes the fairy lullaby from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

I drew this piece traditionally a while ago and then recently digitized it because I thought I needed to draw more of my oc Shiloh. Admittedly, I do need to draw more of him, especially more gore, considering his backstory. Speaking of which, I'll repost his backstory here since I don't expect everyone to go to my artfight account just to find it.

Shiloh is a fae raised in a cult that worships faeries, specifically the fae king Oberon. When Shiloh was very young, he was found in a statue of Oberon. Since the cult leader, Laszlo, was the first to recognize that Shiloh was a fae, he immediately set to work on grooming Shiloh to be the cult's messiah and future leader. Every year, Shiloh would be made to spill his blood with a "pure iron" dagger. This ritual started initially to prove that, yes, he was an actual fae (Laszlo got fucking lucky), but it continued because A) fae blood has healing properties (which is way Shiloh can just spill his guts out and be okay within another hour) and B) fae blood wards off other fae.

Until the blood ritual, Shiloh is made to keep his blood pure until then. His diet is restricted; no processed foods, no (specific) spices or herbs, no meat, and no sugar (which isn't allowed in the cult anyways). He is essentially forbidden from anything sexual, but he also has no privacy when it comes to his own body. He's coddled and praised by the cult to no end, absolutely drowned in their infatuation, but his reverence has made him lonely. He has no peers, only followers.

That is until Shiloh meets Sunny, an outsider he initially gets close to in an attempt to convince him to join the cult, but eventually develops a genuine friendship with (and possibly a crush on, but you're not gonna hear that from him). It's around Sunny that Shiloh feels secure with and it gives him the chance to, both physically and metaphorically, spread his wings.

Anyways, I had no clear idea what I wanted to do with this background. I'm not exactly happy with how it turned out, I think I made it a little cluttered, but I think it looks pretty passable. There are some parts that I'm especially happy with, like the anatomical heart in the background and the subtle paper overlay over the whole piece. I tried really hard to keep the fairy lullaby in because I felt it felt the theme of the piece (and of Shiloh as a whole) very well, and I'm really happy with how that part turned out.

6/15/26 Backlog

Here's a backlog of (some of) the art I've made on my Bluesky account. It's probably going to be where I'm sourcing most of my images from anyways. For the sake of not making my test post insanely massive, I'll be selecting a set few pieces that are either recent or something I'm proud of.

A fully rendered drawing of Inspekta and Hector, dramatically lit from behind. Inspekta looms threateningly over the viewer, body winding like a snake, while Hector is mostly obscured in front of him, back to the viewer. As he turns to them, his tail can just barely be seen in his mouth. A drawing of my two ocs, Shiloh and Sunny. Shiloh (on the left) is short and slim, with dark olive skin, dark blue-black hair that reaches just above their shoulders, pink-red eyes, and freckles. He's dressed in a red, flare overshirt (with an off-white collared shirt under it), flare jeans, black dress shoes, and a heart-shaped bolo tie. Sunny (on the right) is taller and fat, with dark brown skin, long curly pale-yellow hair, and black eyes. He's dressed in a yellow beanie, black shirt, faded jeans, a yellow, orange, and red colored jacket (with matching sneakers), and a chain necklace. A 1/3 body shot of Shiloh, nervously fantasizing over Sunny in various scenes; taking off his beanie, tying up his hair, etc. Shiloh's fae design. His features are similar, now with blue skin and yellow freckles. He also has the addition of goat-like ears, butterfly-like antennae, a long tufted tail, and large yellow moth wings with orange and red patterns. A prominent part of his wing patterning are the eye-shaped markings on both wings, which emote along with him. Shiloh is sitting cross-legged, hands in his lap, looking nervously off to the side. A drawing of an anthropomorphized version of Rarity (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) and Patty (Great God Grove). Rarity is dressed in a black low-v-neck dress, a white cropped jacket, fishnets, and a purple scarf. One hand (hoof?) is placed protectively on Patty's head while the other is on her hip as she tells a cashier (not shown), 'Excuse me! She asked for no pickles.' Patty is dressed in a white turtleneck sweater and is looking up with big sad eyes at the off-screen cashier. A drawing of Toriel (Deltarune) and an anthropomorphized version of Squirrelflight (Warrior Cats). The two of them sit on an undetailed bench and talk about their ex-husbands. Toriel is holding a cup of black tea and laughs along with Squirrelflight's captivating story about her shitty exes. Squirrelflight is dressed in a green scarf, dark green jeans, and a black graphic tee that reads 'MILF: man I love fishin' with a small draawing of a fish. She is holding an unlabeled can of what's either soda or beer, you decide. A reference drawing of my oc, Coron. Coron is short (5 foot) and chubby with warm brown skin, and textured dark brown hair with a thick white streak. He wears a white lab victorian lab coat, brown boots, and goggles with yellow-green lenses. His face is twisted into a wide manic smile, the corners of his mouth forcing his eyes into a slim semi-circle shape. To the right, a shirtless drawing of him shows off an example of his self-done top surgery, the scars being an absolute mess (don't try this at home, kids). A reference drawing of my oc, Fester. Fester is tall (6 foot) and skinny with patched-together green skin, and straight black hait with off-white bangs, put up in a short, messy ponytail or bun. He wears a brown trenchcoat and off-white tattered jeans. He has a variety of moles and his eyes is partially blind on the left (somewhat paralyzed) side of his face. To the left, a shirtless drawing of him shows off the patchwork patterns of his body, the lobotomy pick sticking out of his neck, and (further left) his cybernetic spine. A drawing of Razputin Aquato, in his Psychonauts 2 outfit, posing in front of the transgender pride flag. A drawing of Razputin, in this Psychonauts 1 outfit (which I actually kind of prefer), holding up a mini trans flag with his telekinesis. It is worth noting that the mini trans flag in question is a png of a real object, not a drawing, for humorous juxtaposition.

There. If you wanna see more of my art, my Bluesky is linked in the about page of this site. I'm hoping this site will give me some more insperation and drive to keep drawing, while also being a place for me to just yap incecently.
